Multi Weapon Aiming Device
The MATBOCK MWAD was developed under the Indirect Fire Aiming Device (IFAD) US SOCOM SBIR. The MWAD is a multi-platform capable weapon sight that increases speed and accuracy by digitally displaying range and azimuth for Indirect Fire Weapon Systems. The MWAD provides a real time ballistic solution accounting for environmental conditions, round type, platform and lot deviations to put accurate rounds on target faster than legacy aiming systems. Full integration into the ATAK architecture allows for receipt of call for fire missions from forward observers, informs team leaders of aim point for entire teams and can accurately engage moving targets. The system is compatible with 40mm, 60mm, and various CSW platforms.
